Born in Stuart, he was a 1965 graduate of Murray High School. He was employed as an educator. Survivors include two sons, including Rodney Turner of West Palm Beach; two sisters, Ora Brown of Stuart and Rosetta Johnson of Port St. Lucie; and two grandchildren.
